Boucherouite Pouf

Kahina

1 Available

The shaggiest of the group, and the one with the most movement. Deep red and black work through each other in irregular diagonal drifts — nothing repeats, nothing lines up. The pile is long enough that the pattern shifts as you walk past it. Cut from a boucherouite rag rug, the most improvised of Moroccan weaving traditions.

Ships unstuffed as a cover, flat-packed — this is how Moroccan poufs travel, and it keeps the shipping affordable. There is a zip along the underside, so filling it at home is quick: old clothing, fabric scraps, cushion inserts or beanbag fill all work. It holds roughly 50 litres — about a large bin-bag of clothing, or one 50 L beanbag insert.
