These terms.

These terms govern your use of this site and any purchase you make through it. By using the site, you agree to them. If anything is unclear, get in touch — we would rather answer a question than have you agree to something you did not understand.

What we sell.

Every rug on this site is a one-of-a-kind handmade piece. This has practical consequences that are worth understanding before you buy:

  • Dimensions are approximate. Handmade pieces carry natural variation. Listed measurements may differ by ±5 cm. If a precise fit matters, contact us — we can measure again.
  • Colours may vary from photographs. We photograph in natural light without colour correction, but screen calibration differs. If colour accuracy is critical, ask us for additional photographs or a short video before buying.
  • Vintage pieces show their age. Minor wear, softening of pile, and fading consistent with a piece's age are inherent characteristics, not defects. We disclose all significant damage or repair in the product description.
  • Each piece is sold once. When a rug is marked sold, it is no longer available. We do not restock individual pieces.

Placing an order.

All purchases are made by enquiry. When you use an enquiry link on a product page or the contact form, your message is sent to us by email.

No contract exists between us until we confirm your order in writing by email. At that point we confirm availability, agree a final price, and provide payment details. We reserve the right to withdraw any item from sale at any time before written confirmation is given.

Your order is binding once you have confirmed it in writing and made payment in full.

Payment.

Prices are as stated on each product page at the time of your enquiry. We will confirm the final price — including any applicable charges — in writing before requesting payment. Payment is due in full before dispatch.

We will provide payment details by email when we confirm your order.

Delivery & returns.

Full details of delivery timeframes, costs, and our returns process are on our Shipping & Returns page, which forms part of these terms.

In summary: delivery is complimentary on all orders, and we offer a 14-day return window from the date of delivery.

Title to the goods passes to you when payment is received in full. Risk passes to you on delivery.

Your statutory rights.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. We comply with this. For vintage and antique pieces, satisfactory quality is assessed in light of the piece's age and any characteristics disclosed in the product listing.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a distance sale within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. Our returns policy meets and exceeds this requirement.

If you are based in the EU, you retain the rights afforded to you under your national consumer protection law.

Our content.

All photographs, text, and design on this site are the property of TIZIRI and Abdel Kebir. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute any content without our written permission.

We are happy for customers to share photographs of their purchased rugs. If you tag us, we may repost.

Limitation of liability.

Our liability to you in connection with any purchase is limited to the price you paid for the goods in question.

We are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or any other consequential loss arising from your use of this site or any purchase made through it.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded or restricted by law.

Governing law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where you are a consumer resident in another jurisdiction, in which case your local courts may also have jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time — for example, when we introduce a formal payment system. The version published on this page is the one that applies. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
